Tour de Cure Facts

  • The Tour de Cure is the largest cycling event for diabetes in the country
  • There are 50,000 people that participate in Tour de Cure events each year
  • Events take place in nearly 80-cities across the country
  • Tour de Cure participants raise nearly 30-million dollars each year to support the mission

Fundraising Facts

  • Participants that donate first to set a good example for others raise 3 times more than those that don’t donate
  • Participants that share their story about why they are riding or about who they know with diabetes raise 4 times more than those who don’t share their personal connection to the cause
  • Participants that send out at least 10-emails to their friends and family asking to support them by making a donation raise 5 times more than those who don’t send out emails!

The Verification Code is imprinted on credit cards to help merchants verify transactions when the actual card is not present, such as Internet purchases or donations. The merchant uses this number as part of the authorization process with the card issuer.

The verification code for Visa, Master Card, and Discover is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after the account number or last 4-digits of your account number, in the signature panel.

 
American Express Verification Code

American Express

The American Express verification code is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears above and to the right of the embossed account number.
