Tour de Cure event day is packed with excitement as soon as you park and unload your bike. Check-in time depends on your route choice. Breakfast will be available before your ride, and after you cross the finish line, you can join the festivities and celebrate your accomplishments.

2025 North Carolina Tour de Cure - Metric Century
Date:  Saturday, May 17th

Join us for this challenging yet rewarding course will wind you along the back roads of Randolph County. Enjoy the serene lushness of North Carolina as you cycle through rolling hills, climbing over 3,000 feet of elevation. Circling back into Asheboro you'll cross the finish line into a celebratory finish party! This ride is perfect for cycling enthusiasts looking to challenge themselves while supporting a great cause.

2025 North Carolina Tour de Cure - Half-Metric Century
Date:  Saturday, May 17th
Start Time:  9:00 AM
Location: Bicentennial Park, 135 Sunset Ave, Asheboro, NC 27203
 
Course:
Join us for this course that offers rolling hills with a steady decline at the start and challenges you with an uphill finish. This beautiful ride takes you along green pastures as you roll through the towns of Ulah and Cedar Grove before looping back into Asheboro. With a total elevation gain of 1,485 feet you will be challenged and feel rewarded by the time you hit the finish line. This ride is perfect for aspiring cyclists and cycling enthusiasts alike!

2025 North Carolina Tour de Cure - Family Fun Ride
Date:  Saturday, May 17th
Start Time:  10:00 AM
Location: Bicentennial Park, 135 Sunset Ave, Asheboro, NC 27203
 
Course:
Join us for this easy and flat family fun ride is a great ride option for all families! Your child will experience the joy of riding as you peddle through the town of Asheboro. Riders will get the chance to take a break at the rest stop at mile 5 before heading back up to the finish line. Enjoy fun activities, vendors, and food while you celebrate finishing your ride and supporting the American Diabetes Association.

The Team Village is the place to be at this year’s Tour de Cure! Each team that qualifies will have their own VIP Team Tent to enjoy throughout the day, generate team excitement, and include family members. The Team Village is the center point of the Tour de Cure: Mid-Atlantic and a great gathering place for your team! Click here for details. 

2025 Tour de Cure Recognition Gifts

The Tour Recognitions Gifts are posted and the flyer is linked here. We want to note a few changes and reminders for 2025:

  • New in 2025At $500, participant jerseys will be shipped directly to you when the level is achieved! Red Riders will earn the exclusive 2025 Red Rider Jersey at the $500 recognition gifts level. We only guarantee jersey delivery in time for event day for those participants who achieve the $500 level 30 days before event day. Once received, jerseys may not be exchanged for a different size.
  • Recognition gifts $1,000 and above are awarded post-event.
  • Participants will have 30 days post event (until June 17, 2025) to qualify for/reach a higher fundraising level. After that time, prize certificates will be emailed to qualifying participants.
  • A jersey size guide can be found hereNote: the measurements are taken from the garment lying flat.
