Velo Valero is the official cycling team of Valero Energy Corporation. This year, the Velo Valero Board of Directors voted to step up to the challenge of becoming a National Team for the American Diabetes Association's (ADA) Tour de Cure fund-raising program.

If you have participated in the Tour de Cure in previous years, or one of the other American Diabetes Association signature events (Step Out to Fight Diabetes, School Walk for Diabetes or Rip's B.A.D. Ride), log in with your old username and password prior to registering. (If you do not have/remember this information, click on "Forgot Your Password?" at the top-right corner of the screen to have the information e-mailed to you.)

• Team Captains: Click Register along the top of the screen. After you choose your state and city, click "Create a Team," and be sure to select Valero Energy from the National Team pull-down menu.
• Riders: Click Register along the top of the screen. After you choose your state and city, click "Join a Team." Enter the team's name (if you know it) and/or the National Team into the fields, and click Search for a Team. When the team appears at the bottom of the screen under Search Results, click Join to the right of it.
