Join us to make a difference for 24 million Americans, including 171,000 Utahans, living with diabetes by supporting research, education and advocacy! What are people saying?“Now that I have type 2 diabetes my quality of life is actually better, healthier and more active. I changed my lifestyle and lost 50 pounds. Mowing the lawn, shoveling snow from the driveway and riding my bike 50 miles a week is fun, easy and enjoyable now! In 2009, I rode over 2000 miles to stop diabetes by training to ride Tour de Cure Utah!" Mike Butler, Red Rider. “Last fall I thought I’d have to start using insulin. Now I bicycle and eat nutritious food and my A1C is 5.5%!” Joe Kalodimos, Red Rider. This year we are excited about events that will be happening leading up to the Tour de Cure! GET INVOLVED! We will be holding an event kickoff this year and we hope you can attend. Details will be posted soon! We are still looking for additional committee members to help in the planning process. Please contact Marshall Emsley (info above) if you are interested. Please check back...additional news and updates about this event will be posted shortly. |
